Good question and the answer is relatively simple, we wanted the name of the company to reflect what we did. As for the type of business we set up - there wasn't anything on the market that could do what our clients wanted. There were locks and swipe card systems which were available but they could be breached easily or users could pass their access keys, cards or codes to friends - hardly intelligent. We needed to address these problems and develop systems which were unique to a single user.

Intelligent Access Systems Ltd is a modern, forward thinking company who aim to put the client first. Honesty and integrity are our tenets, founded and run by two brothers Lawrence & James Laidlow. Both brothers are martial arts black belts who understand the values of discipline and honor. Lawrence is the sales and marketing director, whist James heads up the installation and maintenance side of the compsny.
